On February 14, at the Provincial People's Committee Office, Chairman of Binh Dinh Province Pham Anh Tuan had a working session with the delegation of the Organizing Committee of the UIM F1H2O World Championship, led by Mr. Raimondo di San Germano - CEO of H2O Racing.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to choose Binh Dinh as one of the venues to host the 2025 UIM F1H2O World Championship, taking place from May 1 to 3.
This year's race will have the participation of 10 teams from 13 countries around the world (including 21 racing boats), held in rotation in 6-7 countries around the world, including Binh Dinh - Vietnam.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that, as committed to Mr. Nicolo di San Germano - Founder of H2O Racing, and the F1H2O Organizing Committee, Binh Dinh will continue to participate in organizing the F1H2O race. He also hopes that the founder of F1H2O and the Organizing Committee of the race will continue to support Binh Dinh to organize the race regularly and long-term.
“Currently, Binh Dinh has prepared and has infrastructure to meet the needs of the races. I hope the Organizing Committee will continue to promote the F1H2O race widely so that tourists and people from other countries can know and watch at all tournament venues, as well as create connections, cooperation and sharing between tournament venues,” said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan.
Sharing at the meeting, Mr. Raimondo di San Germano congratulated the 2024 racing champion of the F1H2O Binh Dinh - Vietnam racing team. The successful organization of the F1H2O race in Thi Nai lagoon (Quy Nhon city) by Binh Dinh province is considered a new point in the history of the UIM F1H2O World Championship. This is an important step, demonstrating H2O Racing's commitment to expanding the scope of water sports and bringing new experiences to both racers and spectators at home and abroad.
The F1H2O Organizing Committee continues to support Binh Dinh - Vietnam in the long term in participating in organizing this race. And commits to continue promoting the image of Binh Dinh to the world through international media networks and live broadcasts of the tournament in Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh).
The UIM F1H2O World Championship is a large-scale sporting event and is considered one of the most prestigious professional powerboat racing championships in the world, organized by the International Powerboat Federation (UIM).
