Speaking with TH&CL reporter, Mr. Dang Thanh Hung said: Based on Document No. 5201/005 of the Tourism Authority of Thailand - Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office (TATHCM) on the invitation to participate in the Vietnam - Laos - Thailand Road Tourism Survey Trip 2025 (Caravan Famtrip 2025), Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 258/QD-UBND "On assigning civil servants and public employees of the Department of Tourism to participate in the Vietnam - Laos - Thailand Road Tourism Survey Trip 2025".
The survey trip aims to strengthen connectivity among countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations by road and air; promote festival events and tourism destinations of Binh Dinh in the Northeast region of Thailand; and strengthen cooperation and linkage in tourism development among relevant parties in general and Thailand in particular.
Accordingly, the purpose of the Survey Trip was determined: Exploiting favorable factors in terms of geographical location and traffic, unique and attractive tourism resources to promote Binh Dinh tourism to foreign markets, attract more international visitors to Binh Dinh, create conditions for linking to build new products suitable for this potential tourist market.
At the same time, the survey trip also aims to strengthen connectivity, cooperation, and promote the development of Vietnam - Laos tourism. Thailand will effectively promote the tourism potential of Binh Dinh, exploit the heritage system, sea tourism, ecology, shopping... to meet the tourist market of Laos - Thailand, the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) and ASEAN through the East - West Corridor (EWEC).
In addition, the survey trip also aims to promote, communicate, and introduce information about festival events and destinations of Binh Dinh to create conditions for the Tourism Authority of Thailand Ho Chi Minh City Representative Office, media agencies, travel and service businesses and investors in the Northeastern region of Thailand to clearly understand the potential, strengths and events of the Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh tourism festival, thereby having a plan to promote, build tours to bring tourists to Binh Dinh and call for tourism investment.
In addition, the survey also aims to learn from the experience of Thai businesses in promoting tourism; update and innovate to suit the trends and tastes of foreign tourists when coming to Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh province in particular.
Also according to Mr. Dang Thanh Hung, the Vietnam - Laos - Thailand Road Tourism Survey Trip 2025 (Caravan Famtrip 2025) was conducted for 1 week (from February 4 to 10).
Accordingly, during 7 days, the Caravan Famtrip 2025 Survey Team conducted surveys at a number of locations in the three countries of Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand.
