Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that "Tourism, Cinema and Sports: Creating the future - long journey together" is a forum, a bridge for businesses, managers and people working in cinema, tourism, sports to meet, have a more comprehensive and profound view of the potential, strengths, expectations for tourism development and exchange, propose more effective solutions to combine tourism, cinema and sports, strongly promote the image of national tourism, promote tourist destinations of Vietnam in general and Binh Dinh province in particular to a large number of domestic and international tourists. 
Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong expressed his hope that the Workshop will open up many opportunities for cooperation and joint ventures between localities, between sports and tourism, tourism and cinema, and sports and cinema to develop together in a sustainable way, "create the future", and exploit more effectively the tourism potential of destinations in many localities across the country, including Binh Dinh province.

Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee, Co-Head of the Steering Committee of the Program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity", delivered a welcome speech at the Workshop.

Speaking at the opening of the Workshop, Mr. Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee said that "in the field of cinema, Binh Dinh has not made many impressions even though it is a locality with potential and strengths in natural landscapes, a rich cultural history with many cultural layers and periods of sublimation in the flow of national history that have left a rich and diverse heritage system on Binh Dinh. Cinema and sports have been contributing significantly to promoting scenic spots, cultural values, and heritages of regions to the public, helping to attract tourists and promote the socio-economic development of the locality". "
Today's workshop "Tourism, Cinema and Sports: Creating the future - Long journey together" will help us better understand the importance and necessity of linking tourism with cinema and sports. In other words, in some ways, films and sports activities will contribute to promoting tourist destinations effectively, creating impressions and encouraging tourists to explore the land and people in the film. At the same time, this is also a great opportunity for Binh Dinh to meet, exchange and receive important opinions from researchers, experts, managers and practitioners. From there, there will be cooperation programs through specific projects to exploit and develop together", said Mr. Lam Hai Giang.
          At the workshop, experts and guest delegates exchanged and discussed to clarify the connection between Tourism, Cinema and Sports with 2 open discussion sessions, session 1: Tourism, Cinema and Sports: Building the future, long-term journey together chaired by Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and session 2: Practical cooperation in Tourism, Cinema and Sports chaired by Film producer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, An Nam Productions company.

The Organizing Committee expects: The workshop will open up opportunities to connect the cultural heritage of Binh Dinh province in the promotion work, linking together into a system to preserve, promote and exploit heritage to serve tourism development; build an environment, a bridge for filmmakers, businesses, managers to meet, exchange, propose solutions to combine tourism, cinema and sports more effectively in the promotion work, building images for destinations of Vietnam in general, Binh Dinh in particular. At the same time, build preferential policies, encourage cooperation, association, joint ventures between Binh Dinh and provinces, cities, between the fields of sports - tourism, tourism - cinema and sports - cinema to develop together in a sustainable way...

The program ended with a signing ceremony of cooperation between the representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Tourism; Binh Dinh Province Tourism Association with 04 film producers: Bao Phuc Media, Minh Dofilm, HK Film, Sidus And Teu Entertainment Joint Stock Company to contribute to promoting the image and brand of Tourism, further promoting the sustainable development of Culture - Tourism of Binh Dinh province through cinema.
