Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism said, "This is one of the important contents and the opening activity for the Program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity". The opening ceremony of the Program took place in an atmosphere resounding with pride about the revolutionary autumn days 79 years ago, contributing another meaningful activity with the people of the whole country to joyfully welcome the National Independence Day: National Day September 2.
Vietnam is not only a country with a heroic history, but also a place with many beautiful natural landscapes, along with a system of historical - cultural relics, unique landscapes that bring advantages and potential to promote tourism through cinema, and has been and is an attractive resource for many filmmakers.
Cinema is affirmed to be an effective tourism promotion channel in the national tourism development strategy. Beautiful scenes in movies can attract tourists, help destinations, landmarks, tourism products and services in movies become famous, contributing positively to the development of the tourism industry of many provinces and cities such as Phu Yen, Ha Giang, Quang Ninh, Quang Binh... ”.
According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, Vietnam has many beautiful and poetic landscapes, many famous tourist destinations and a long-standing traditional culture, all of which have been recorded through the lens of filmmakers and created a magical attraction. Many movie scenes have become attractive destinations for domestic and foreign tourists after the movie was released.

With its miraculous ability to convey images, cinema is a bridge, contributing to the development of tourism brands, audiences from both visual and auditory senses will want to come to admire the beauty of nature with their own eyes. This has been vividly demonstrated in many localities in our country such as Ha Giang, Phu Yen, Quang Binh... in the past 10 years. That requires that it is time for "Enterprises - Cinema creators - Local authorities" to work together to further promote cooperation to create cinematographic works imbued with national identity, contributing to honoring and promoting the nature, people, and culture of Vietnam, at the same time each good film will be a golden opportunity to help the "smokeless industry" develop.

"Vietnam Tourism through Photo Space" took place at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, with 2 parts. "Vietnam's Beauty through Cinema", displaying about 300 images of the country and people of Vietnam, which are filming locations appearing in domestic and international films and "Binh Dinh Introduction Space", displaying images from films filmed in Binh Dinh, some cultural sites, historical relics, and scenic spots of the province.

"Vietnam Tourism through the space of photos" is the opening activity of the Program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity". Within the framework of the Program, there are many special activities, including: Martial arts performance (19:30 - 22:30 on September 2, 2024) at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon city; Grand music festival "Wings of Miracles" (from 19:00 - 21:30 on September 3, 2024) at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon city; Film screening program "Promoting and advertising tourism through cinema" (from September 2 to 4, 2024), at 03 cinema complexes in Quy Nhon city (Provincial Convention Center; Starlight Quy Nhon; CGV Kim Cuc Plaza) and 05 outdoor public movie screening locations in Binh Dinh province; Workshop "Tourism, Cinema and Sports: Creating the future - a long journey together" (September 3, 2024) at the Provincial Convention Center; Experiential tourism tour program to create inspiration, suggest film settings, creative ideas in cinematographic works to promote Binh Dinh tourism in particular and Vietnam tourism in general, contributing to attracting domestic and foreign visitors to visit and experience.
